The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station

The Winter Village at Battersea Power Station is back and bigger than ever this year, running from the 2nd December 2021 - 3rd January 2022. With beautiful festive theming, lots of open outdoor space, delicious pop-up food and drink huts, a Christmas Market offering crafts and gifts from local artisans, family-friendly rides and games, as well as its prime location on the banks of the River Thames in front of one of London's most iconic buildings, it’s the perfect spot to get into the Christmas spirit. Where better to try to spot Santa too, we have four giant chimneys after all! What can you expect...

FOOD & DRINK

As you stroll along the iconic Grade-II* listed Coaling Jetty over the Thames you will find our pop-up huts where you can enjoy delicious bites from seafood experts Wright Brothers such as fresh oysters and scallops with flame-torched butter, sip on warming mulled wine from wine connoisseurs Vagabond and indulge in a sweet treat from The Queen of the Crepes.

If a sit down meal is more your cup of tea, we have 13 different bars and restaurants to choose from, many of which will be serving special menus over the Christmas period and have private spaces to book, perfect for Christmas parties and get togethers. They're all open and waiting to welcome you!

THINGS TO DO

Rides – A Battersea Power Station first! We will have a vintage Ferris Wheel (all ages) and a Toy Town Carousel (ages 3-10) in our newly opened section of the North Park in front of the iconic Power Station. Tickets are only £2 per person for each ride.

Games – We have set up two courses of Yule Boules, a Reindeer Toss and a Feed the Snowman game that are all free to play. Challenge your family and friends to a game or two as you look out over the Thames to amazing views of the city.

Santa’s Workshop – Getting a nice family photo can be hard, but our Santa’s Workshop Selfie Station is a great spot to take a snap! Plus, Santa will be visting 12pm-4pm 18th and 19th December. Don’t forget to tag us @batterseapwrstn so we can see all the fun you are having. Christmas jumpers strongly recommended! If you’re yet to post your letter to Santa, don’t panic! There will be a special post box at the workshop sending letters directly to the big man himself at the North Pole.

Gift a Book - Christmas is a time for giving, and supporting our local community is something that’s very important to all of us here at Battersea Power Station. For the last three years, Battersea Power Station Development Company employees and contractors working on the project have kindly donated books for local schools as part of the 'Give a Book for Christmas' appeal. This year, as well as asking members of the team working across the site to support this great initiative, we’re asking you too! Find out more here.

Battersea & Nine Elms Giant Advent Calendar Trail - This December, Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms will once again transform into a Giant Advent Calendar Art Trail! Now in its 3rd year, this magical walking trail is coming back to Battersea Power Station with its new theme: Peace on Earth. In total, there will be 24 venues hosting 24 advent calendar windows, each lit up with artistic decorations.
